Saturday was a big game for the Rocky Grizzlies, against the Eagle Mustangs. Both teams came out fighting, wanting the W. Rocky defense stayed strong the whole 70 minutes of the game. Kelsey Jargstorf ,the Grizzlies amazing goalie, stayed busy the whole game blocking shots from every angle. Grizzly midfield work hard spreading the field and finding the forwards feet. Their hard work paid off, getting the ball to forward Emily Wright getting the Grizzlies their one and only goal. Grizzlies walked away with a 1-0 victory.Coach Heather Kopecky, couldn't be more proud of her team. "They came together as a team and work together for the win, and worked even harder to keep their goal!" Rocky will play again Tuesday, September 19th, against Meridian, at Meridian,at 5:30pm. Parents wear your ROCKY gear !!
